Bath time!

I just thought this picture was too cute not to put on the blog. I don't usually give them a bath together when I am by myself (they are both so wiggly that it can be really really challenging). But lately Jack tries to climb in the tub every time Claire is in there (even with his clothes on). It takes everything in my power to keep him out, so today I just gave in (I actually had no choice because he was already half way in with his diaper on). Anyway, here are a couple of pictures of their bath tonight.

New Pajamas!

Pictures of the babies in their new pajamas (which they have almost outgrown already!). Claire is going through a little growth spurt right now and has almost outgrown all of her pants! I guess she will have to just run around in diapers :) She is finally over 20 pounds. The above picture is her in her new PJs holding a duck (her new favorite word). Jack likes his PJs too, but he has worn them before (he got sick on his old ones one night and ended up in his new ones).

A few firsts!

So the babies just had their first birthday and now it is time for a few more "firsts." Jack had his first haircut on Saturday. To all of our surprise, he didn't cry...not even a little. He kind of tried to swat at the lady cutting his hair a few times, but other than that, no drama. He looks great too (and he should given how much we paid for a little boys haircut!!!). Claire had her first word today!!! Well both of them can say mama and dada, but I am not sure they know what it means at this point. This was an actual idenification of an object. She looked at a little yellow rubber duckie and said "Duck." So cute. Now she says it over and over again (of course I did spend most of the afternoon holding various ducks in front of her and kept prompting her to say it). Anyway, it has been a very exciting few weeks for the babies!!
