Okay one of these days I will stop counting months, but I still like to do it for now. I like to see how much they change in just one month. Jack and Claire have learned so much!! Both of them know several sign language signs (eat, sleep, more, all done, mama, baby, duck, please, milk). Both of them know a lot of their body parts (head, ears, eyes, mouth, nose, knees (sometimes), bottom, belly, feet, hands, fingers and elbows (sometimes)). They will go get things if you tell them to (their teddy bear, the sheep, pig, cow, books, guitar, blocks, legos, diaper). Both of them recognize a ton of things in books (which are their absolute favorite things --they will bring you books all day long to read to them). I am just such a proud mama!!
Their nanny sings to them all day long, and they are learning songs as well. Claire likes the "itzy bitzy spider" and tries to make the gestures of the spider crawling up the spout and the sun. The cutest thing, though, is when the song "if you're happy and you know it" comes on. She claps her hands when the song says to clap her hands, but the best part is when the song goes "and your face will surely show it." She puts her hands her around her face and shakes her head back and forth. It is so adorable!! I know the nanny her taught her that (because I didn't...and Nick doesn't sing).
